Meanwhile, the tunnel construction makes good use of the available space while keeping the tent compact enough for travelling.

Vango combines lightweight alloy poles with its TBS®II Tension Band System to improve stability when the weather changes. In addition, the flysheet and inner pitch together, helping to keep the sleeping area protected when setting up in wet conditions.

The Omega 250 uses three 8.5mm alloy poles, with one main pole and two end poles forming its tunnel structure. This design provides a good balance between strength and weight for trekking and touring trips.

TBS®II Tension Band System

Vango’s TBS®II Tension Band System adds extra support when conditions become windy.

The internal tension bands brace the tent and help reduce sideways movement. However, you can simply stow them away when you don’t need the extra support.
