Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights (such as your rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979).
Unwanted Items
Your right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations: You have the right to return your purchase for a full refund within 30 days. You are responsible for paying return postage costs for unwanted items. Items must be returned unused, in a re-saleable condition in their original packaging. Upon receipt of the returned goods we will aim to process your refund as quickly as possible (the original delivery charge will not be refunded).
Under the Consumer Rights Act you have a legal right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund – as long as you do this quickly. This right is limited to 30 days from the date you buy your product.
Faulty Goods
All purchases should be checked fully within 30 days of the purchase date. Tents and awnings should be checked before embarking on your first trip. In the unlikely event that you will need to return your purchase due to a manufacturing fault, or it being damaged or the wrong item, we can organise collection and exchange for you. If you wish to return the faulty item by post or your own courier we will reimburse the cost up to a pre-agreed amount. Your goods MUST be packaged adequately for transport in a cardboard box or other suitable protective packaging.
Please fill out the Norwich Camping Return Form – below – and enclose it with the product being returned, to enable us to process it as quickly as possible.
Tent and Awning Returns
If you are returning a tent or awning, please note the following:
– Your tent / awning must be clean and dry. It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is packaged in a cardboard box or other protective packaging suitable for transport. Failure to do this will result in the couriers refusing to collect the item, or us sending the item back to you unprocessed.
– In some instances, we may need to send your tent / awning to the manufacturer for inspection / testing.
– Please include a description / photos of any fault with the item being returned.
– If your tent / awning is deemed by us or the manufacturer not to be faulty, we reserve the right to dispatch your item back to you at your cost.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not be responsible for damage caused by stormy / windy weather conditions, accidents, misuse and wear & tear.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- If the Tent or Awning has been taken out of its bag and is not in its original condition
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your card or original method of payment, within 30 days of the day we received your returned product.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email and send your item to Norwich Camping & Leisure, 58 Yarmouth Road, Blofield, Norwich, Norfolk NR13 4LQ.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should send it to Norwich Camping & Leisure, Returns, 58 Yarmouth Road, Blofield, Norwich, Norfolk NR13 4LQ.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
