Care & Maintenance

Remove dust and loose dirt regularly with a clean, soft brush. When required, wipe the teak with a clean, damp cloth and avoid using abrasive chemicals or harsh cleaning agents. Spills, tree sap and bird droppings should also be removed promptly.

As teak is a natural material, its appearance will gradually change when exposed to outdoor conditions. Suitable Kettler wood-care treatments can help protect the timber and maintain its original appearance.

During winter and particularly wet periods, store the bench in a cool, dry and well-ventilated location where possible. This will help minimise excessive expansion or shrinkage of the timber.
