The Mestic Split Unit Air Conditioner SPA-3100 offers efficient cooling for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes. It is designed for vehicles up to 5 metres long, making it ideal for touring and smaller camping setups. Moreover, the split unit design allows simple installation without modifying your vehicle.
Instead of mounting the system permanently on the roof, the SPA-3100 hangs through a suitable window opening. One section sits outside the vehicle, while the cooling unit remains inside. As a result, the system delivers fresh, cool air into your living space while keeping the compressor outside.
Furthermore, the unit provides cooling, ventilation, and dehumidification in one compact appliance. This combination helps maintain a comfortable environment inside your caravan during warm or humid weather.
Efficient and Adjustable Climate Control
The air conditioner delivers a cooling capacity of around 3050 BTU (895W). Consequently, it can effectively reduce interior temperatures during summer touring trips.
In addition, the temperature can be adjusted between 16°C and 30°C, allowing you to set your ideal climate. The system also features three ventilation speeds and adjustable airflow direction for balanced air distribution.
Moreover, the timer function and sleep mode improve nighttime comfort. Sleep mode lowers fan speed and reduces lighting, creating a quieter environment while you rest.
The system uses environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant, which provides efficient cooling while reducing environmental impact.
Simple Installation and Smart Operation
The SPA-3100 installs easily using an adjustable bracket that fits most caravan windows. Therefore, you can install or remove the unit whenever required. This flexibility makes it perfect for seasonal camping or occasional use.
In addition, the air conditioner can be operated via the touch control panel or the Mestic Smart App. This allows you to adjust temperature, fan speed, and timer settings quickly and easily.
Because the system keeps the compressor outside, interior noise remains relatively low at around 53dB. Consequently, you can enjoy a cooler and quieter living space while travelling.
