The advanced Platinum clamp system has been engineered for maximum grip and stability. In addition, the enlarged clamp body accommodates mirror bezels up to 25mm thick, making it suitable for almost every modern towing vehicle.

If you already have Aero 3 or 4 mirrors, you can improve the grip on some vehicles by purchasing alternative pads. If you have Aero 1 or 2 mirrors, you will need to replace your clamps with new Aero clamps 4589, or upgrade to the Platinum range. Platinum mirrors do not require any additional parts.

Aero V Pads, Product Code: 3186

The Aero V Pads have a lip on them in order for them to fit on cars like the 2010 onwards Kia Sorento.

Aero F Pads, Product code: 4664

The Aero F Pads have twin grooves for enhanced grip on typically VW group cars (Audi, Seat and Skoda) post 2013.

Aero LR Pads, Product Code: 4466

The Aero LR Pads fit all 2014 onwards Land Rover Discovery and Range Rover.

They give an enhanced grip by keying in to the gap on the vehicle mirror (see images for fitment)

Only fit 1 clamp at a time holding the clamp at about a 30 deg angle with the gripper pad canted forwards so that the blade in the pad inserts into the slot in the top of the mirrors.

An amount of mechanical dexterity and sympathy is required to ensure precise engagement.

Once both clamps are correctly fitted insert the bar.

How to Use

1. Clean your vehicle’s wing mirrors before installation.
2. Position the Platinum clamps securely around the mirror housing.
3. Tighten both clamp screws evenly.
4. Insert the mirror arm and adjust the mirror position.
5. Tighten the remaining adjustment screws.
6. Check visibility before every journey and recheck after driving a short distance.
