The Outback Excel Onyx 311 Burner Gas BBQ has replaced the well-renowned Outback Excel 310 in the Outback Gas BBQ line, updating and improving its features and enhancing its overall look to ensure that it will make a great-looking and performing addition to a patio, terrace, or garden.
Generous porcelain coated grill
The porcelain-coated grill on the Outback Excel Onyx 311 Burner Gas BBQ has a generously sized 50 cm x 36 cm cooking surface, which is exceptionally large for a barbecue with the Excel's small overall dimensions. The front control panel's control knobs, which affect the gas flow to the two steel burners below the flavouring bars, allow for independent control of the heat to the cooking surface.
Useful integrated temperature gauge
The warming rack attached to the lid of the Outback Excel Onyx 311 Burner Gas BBQ now has an integrated temperature gauge to help watch, regulate, and maintain cooking temperatures.
Side tables on both sides for additional functionality
One of the two side tables includes a side burner the left of the main cookbox for the cooking of sauces and accompanying foods which are not suitable for cooking on the main cooking surface in the cookbox. The other side table is perfect for food preparation and has utensil hooks to keep necessary tools close at hand. Additional items can be stored underneath the barbecue on a shelf.

Flavouriser Bars
Flavouriser Bars fit underneath the grill top and over the burners. They divert extra grease and prevent flare-ups. Cooked meat juices and fat drip onto the Flavourizer Bars, where they vaporise into smoke and steam that flavour the food being grilled. Many prefer Flavouriser Bars because they enhance the authentic BBQ flavour of the food cooked above them.
