Expand Your Awning, Effortlessly
The Dometic Grande AIR All-Season Extension lets you increase your Grande AIR awning’s usable space by approximately 1.9 metres in width. You simply zip it on to the right or left side and inflate from a single air point. This means you gain generous extra floor area without permanently re-pitching your awning.
Durable Fabric for All Seasons
Because this extension uses All-Season materials, it delivers robust protection against sun, rain, and wind. Moreover, its fabric is designed to be fully waterproof and durable, making it perfect for both seasonal pitches and variable weather touring.
Good Ventilation & Comfort Features
It includes a mesh flyscreen to improve airflow while keeping insects out. Also, the extension offers easy-access zipped storage lockers to help you keep gear organised and ready. If needed, you can add an optional inner tent to convert part of the space into sleeping quarters.

This model has a depth of 290 cm, and supports connection heights between approximately 235-265 cm. It weighs roughly 14 kg for the standard R/H extension version, packed with pegs, curtains, and carry bag. Despite its size, the extension retains the Grande AIR’s generous height and depth when fitted.

UPF 50+ Protection from the Sun
Built into the awning’s material to protect you from the harmful effects of the sun’s rays. An Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) denotes how much solar ultraviolet radiation is reduced when passing through fabric. This UPF 50+ material allows only 1/50th of ultraviolet rays to pass through.
Weathershield 4Season
Suitable for seasonal pitching – tested in the sunniest parts of Australia and the wettest places in Europe to make sure it’s able to cope with extended exposure to the elements. The material is breathable and extremely durable.
Dual-Pitch Roof System
Kampa’s new design feature that ensures a minimum 1.83m/6ft of interior headroom in their awnings, whilst also deflecting wind and shedding rainwater to avoid puddling on the roof.
Single Point Inflation
Since Kampa launched the first inflatable caravan awnings onto the market in 2013, their Kampa AIR system has led the way, allowing fast, easy set-up with their Single Point Inflation method. That’s just one external inflation valve to blow-up all of the supporting AirPoles and beams for the entire awning or tent – unlike having to inflate individual air-beams via separate inflation points as with other manufacturers’ systems. For pack-away, quick-release deflation valves make the job equally easy.
