The Outwell Santa Monica Air Driveaway Awning has been designed to make campervan touring easier. The freestanding drive-away design lets you detach your vehicle without dismantling the awning, giving you the freedom to explore during the day before returning to your fully set-up campsite.

Suitable for campervans with an attachment height of 175–200cm, the awning connects using a 250cm dual beading system compatible with both 5mm and 7mm awning rails. As a result, it fits a wide range of popular campervans including the Volkswagen Transporter, Ford Transit Custom, Mercedes V-Class and many similar vehicles.

Fast Air Pitching System

The Outwell Rigid Air System replaces traditional poles with inflatable air tubes, making pitching quick and straightforward. Inflate the structure using the included pump and you’ll be ready to relax in around ten minutes.

Pre-shaped air tubes create generous headroom throughout the living area, while the stable air frame performs well in changing weather conditions. Consequently, you spend less time pitching and more time enjoying your holiday.

Bright, Comfortable Living Space

Large tinted windows fill this awnings interior with natural light while helping reduce glare and maintain privacy. Toggle-up curtains allow you to adjust light levels throughout the day, creating a comfortable living space whatever the weather.

The front door opens fully and includes a full mesh screen behind it, allowing fresh air to circulate while keeping insects outside. In addition, side doors on both sides of the access tunnel make moving between your campervan and awning quick and convenient.

The Santa Monica Air includes a fully sewn-in waterproof groundsheet to help keep draughts, insects and moisture outside. Heavy-duty Outwell zips, colour-coded Lite Pegging System, Guyline Retainer System and HookTrack storage rails all contribute to an easier camping experience.

Furthermore, the integrated front canopy provides useful shelter over the entrance, making it ideal for entering and leaving the awning during wet weather.
