How we use cookies

A ‘cookie’ is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual, being able to tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.
Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of our website and others using cookies.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to enable you to easily visit other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over those other websites. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this Privacy Policy. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to each website in question.

Controlling your personal information
You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:
- do not give opted-in consent to receive our occasional promotional emails

- if you have previously given consent to receive our occasional promotional emails, you may retract your consent by clicking on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of each of these emails, or, at any time, by emailing [email protected] from the relevant email address.

We will not distribute your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law or contractual obligation to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information which we think you may find interesting only if you consent (‘opt-in’) for this to happen.

You may request details or deletion of personal information which we hold about you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018. This is carried out free of charge in most cases. If you would like a copy of the personal information we hold on you, believe that any information we are holding is incorrect or incomplete and you would like us to update it, or would like us to delete personal information that we hold on you, please email [email protected] or write to us at the address below with ‘Customer Data’ as the first line. 3. Orders

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.

Contract creation and electronic contracting

The technical steps required to create the contract between you and us are as follows:

- You place the order for your products on the Website by pressing the Place and Confirm order button at the end of the checkout process. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the Website.

- We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from norwichcamping.co.uk

- As your product is shipped from our warehouse we will send you a despatch confirmation email.

- Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the Products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions in Change or cancel an order.

Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

- The product you ordered being unavailable from stock.
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
- The identification of a pricing or product description error.
- You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in the main Terms & Conditions.
- The contract will be concluded in English.

Contract cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations

Please note that you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish provided that you exercise your right and notify us no longer than 14 working days after the day on which you receive the Products.

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract after your order has already been despatched, we will refund the original purchase price and the cost of standard delivery, provided that you have notified us in writing no longer than 14 working days after the day on which you receive the Products, and that you have taken reasonable care of the Products and not used them.

Please follow the procedure set out in our Returns procedure.

Please note that your right to return Products does NOT apply to Products which fall into the following categories unless they are faulty or not as described:

Made to measure or personalised goods
Perishable goods (such as food or bait)
Unsealed CDs, DVDs, tapes or other recording media, software or videos.

International

Products delivered to some destinations, mainly outside the EU, may be subject to taxes, fees, levies or other charges, which are imposed by local legislation. The recipient of the products is responsible for all customs formalities for their export and import, and will be required to pay any additional charges, including import duty, formal customs entry, taxes, levies and other charges. The recipient of the goods, not the person who's ordered them, will receive a separate request for payment of these charges from our delivery agent.

If you're ordering products to be delivered to someone else, please make sure they're aware they'll be responsible for these additional charges. Unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, so we're unable to offer any assistance on these processes. We'd advise that you check the import charges applicable in any country before ordering products to be delivered there.

4. Returns

Introduction

We understand that from time to time you may wish to return products to us in appropriate circumstances. This Returns Policy applies to customers irrespective of you geographical location. This policy does not affect your statutory rights (such as your rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979).

Unwanted items

For 'Distance Selling' (online), under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014, you are allowed to return an item for a full refund if you simply change their mind. You have the right to cancel at any time from the moment you place your order online and up to 14 days from the day that you receive the goods. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods from the date that you notify us of the cancellation. There are exemptions to online returns, which include tailor-made/personalised goods.

You are responsible for paying return postage costs for unwanted items. Items must be returned unused, in a re-saleable condition in their original packaging. Upon receipt of the returned goods we will aim to process your refund as quickly as possible (the original delivery charge will not be refunded).

Faulty Goods

All purchases should be checked fully within 30 days of the purchase date. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund. This right is limited to 30 days from the date that you took ownership of the goods.

Tents and awnings should be checked before embarking on your first trip. In the unlikely event that you will need to return your purchase due to a manufacture fault, or it being damaged or the wrong item, we can organise collection and exchange for you. If you wish to return the faulty item by post or your own courier we will reimburse the cost up to a pre-agreed amount. Your goods MUST be packaged adequately for transport in a cardboard box or other suitable packaging.

Returns Form and Procedure

Please fill out the Norwich Camping Return Form below. If you are returning an Outwell, Vango or Kampa Tent / Awning, please also fill out the relevant form.

Kampa Awning Return Form

Outwell Returns Form

Vango Returns Form

If you are returning a tent or awning, please note the following:

1) Your tent / awning must be clean and dry. It is your responsibility to ensure the item is packaged in a cardboard box or other packaging suitable for transport. Failure to do this will result in the couriers refusing to collect the item, or us sending the item back to you unprocessed.

2) In some instances we may need to send your tent / awning to the manufacturer for inspection

3) Please include a description / photos of the fault with your item, along with a copy of this form to enable us to process the return as quick as possible.

4) If your tent / awning is deemed by us or the manufacturer not to be faulty, we reserve the right to dispatch your item back to you at your cost.

i.e. Refunds
We will send you a refund for the full price of any product properly returned by you in accordance with the terms of this returns policy. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days of the day we received you returned product.

5. Description of products

Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out additional Specific Conditions related to that Product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times, warranties, after-sales service and guarantees.

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. We cannot confirm the price of a Product until your order is accepted in accordance with our Order acceptance policy.

6. Gift Vouchers and Promotional Discounts

Norwich Camping & Leisure gift vouchers can be exchanged for goods in our Norwich Camping & Leisure Store in Blofield.
Norwich Camping & Leisure gift vouchers unfortunately cannot be used to purchase goods online or over the telephone at this time.
Gift vouchers may not be exchanged for cash.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Promotional discounts

Coupons, discounts and promotional discount codes offered by norwichcamping.co.uk are valid only for use as part of a purchase made via norwichcamping.co.uk, unless otherwise stated. Such promotional discounts are not valid for use as part of a purchase in our store, or for telephone orders.

Special Offers and Promotional Discounts

All prices quoted in our stores and online are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate charged in the UK, where appropriate. We make every effort to keep the prices up to date but we reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

It may be that prices and promotions are incorrectly quoted or changed due to external circumstances. We have no statutory obligation to sell goods at the price quoted if that price is incorrect.

Special Offers/Promotions:

These are any items with a discount greater than 10% off the RRP. These products will be available in limited quantities, sizes and colours. When stock of a special offer runs out we will no longer be able to supply that item at the special offer price. Nor will we be able to offer exchanges for special offers returned after stock has run out.

Prices found through search engines may not be accurate as they may include prices from older seasons, product lines and promotions. Prices found on our products using our own search facility will be correct and accurate.

Promotions exclude Discount Cards, Gift Vouchers and Gas bottles unless otherwise stated.

Voucher Codes:

Voucher Code reductions (£ / %) are taken from the 'Sub Total' amount in the Shopping Basket. Valid dates will be included where the voucher code is displayed, and the voucher codes only apply to purchases from norwichcamping.co.uk.

If the following message: 'Invalid voucher code Sorry, the voucher you have requested is not currently available.' appears then your voucher code has either expired or is not valid at the current time.

If this is a timed voucher promotion, please try to add the voucher at a later time and if you are within the first number of valid orders, it will be accepted.

If this is a product or department specific offer, then the items in your basket are not applicable for the offer.

Free Delivery Voucher Codes only apply to Standard Delivery Charges unless otherwise stated. If you wish to receive the items quicker, you will have to pay extra for this service.

Any promotion stating 'Use Voucher Code' is ONLY available online and cannot be used in our stores or in conjunction with any other offer.
